Brady Corbet is an American filmmaker. He began his film career as an actor. He played the leading roles of cult movies such as Thirteen and Michael Haneke's Funny Games. In 2015, at the age of 26 he directed his first feature film, The Childhood of a Leader, starring Robert Pattinson, Berenice Bejo and Stacy Martin and won both Best Debut Film Award and Best Director Award at 72nd Venice International Film Festival. In 2018 he directed his second feature, Vox Lux, starring Natalie Portman and Jude Law, which was nominated for the Golden Lion in Venice. Brady's extraordinary mastery of cinematography, unique style and sublime artistic direction make him one of the most talented directors of his generation.
