Coralie Fargeat is a French director. Her work is strongly influenced by genre films and filmmakers such as David Cronenberg, David Lynch, and Quentin Tarantino. She directed Revenge, a feminist take on the genre movie somewhere between Kill Bill and Deliverance, using a unique artistic direction made of flashy colors, gruesome violence and dark humor. Coralie won Best Director and Best Up and Coming Director Awards at the Sitges Film Festival and was selected to many festivals worldwide such as Fantastic Fest and Sundance. She directed a Nike commercial, a powerful ode to women's empowerment through sports.
