Elise Otzenberger is a director and actress based in Paris. Her first encounter with cinema happened when she was working as an actress. She acted in many films and her love of cinema grew over the years. She is a filmaker of pure emotion, seeking to plunge into the intimacy of her characters, exploring them with sensitivity and subtlety. Her direction is touching and poetic, and speaks of universal subjects such as motherhood, mental burden and soft madness, while flirting with the fantastic genre. Her latest film, produced by our sister company Mamma Roman, Par Amour, starring Cecile De France, is a film with a very organic aesthetic, reminiscent of the films of directors who are not afraid to mix genres, such as Bong Joon-ho. It will be out in theaters on January 2025.
